About
debbah. [pr. deb-buh] {word origin: made up by me}
noun
defined as "a personal interpretation of happiness, fulfillment, and peace relative to an individual's unique goals and dreams."
A.K.A. "do what makes you happy."
"one link to rule them all!"
Hi, I’m Michael Paulyn.
When I was little (I'm talking not even two years old), I, for some reason, before I learned to talk, used this made-up word "debbah."
Depending on the day, time, and cloud patterns, "debbah." could refer to an apple, a car passing by, or my shoes; in short, it could mean anything.
Fast forward many years later—during the pandemic, I found myself in the midst of a remote job search. But each job board seemed to have its own unique listings, with very little crossover.
This meant that if you were like me, you’d have to remember a lot of links—about 530+ remote job boards, as it turns out—each with exclusive opportunities that weren’t available elsewhere.
That’s how debbah. was born: a solution to simplify the search. I wanted a single place that gathered all the best remote job boards, distance learning platforms, and remote resources for people who wanted more flexibility and freedom in their work.

How I felt right as the pandemic was beginning...

Now, debbah. has grown to mean something specific: opportunity. As the world’s #1 curated library of 530+ remote job boards, debbah. connects people with remote job opportunities they won’t find anywhere else.
If you’re searching for more flexibility, a career change, or a job that fits your life rather than the other way around, debbah. makes it easy.
Today, debbah. offers a straightforward way to find remote jobs, sharpen your skills, and explore global opportunities from one place.
Think of it as your personal library of remote possibilities, created to make finding the perfect job simpler, faster, and more accessible.
Happy hunting!
One last thing before I go...
It's never too late to start over.
Whether you’re making a career change, embracing a fresh start, or pursuing a dream you’ve kept on hold, there’s always time to reset and begin anew.
The journey is yours to shape, and at any moment, you can decide to turn the page. This sentiment resonates deeply with me, and I often think of it as a reminder to pursue a life I’m proud of, regardless of where I am.
This inspiring quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald, the author of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, resonates deeply with this belief:

“For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing.
We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view.
I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”
