The Back Story

debbah. [pr. deb-buh] {word origin: made up by me}
   noun

defined as
"a personal interpretation of happiness, fulfillment, and peace relative to an individual's unique goals and dreams."

A.K.A. "do what makes you happy."

"one link to rule them all!"

When I was little (I'm talking not even two years old), I, for some reason, before I learned to talk, used this made-up word "debbah." Depending on the day, time, and cloud patterns, "debbah" could refer to an apple, a car passing by, or my shoes; in short, it could mean anything.

Now here's debbah., where reality meets possibility. This website gives those looking for a better life a chance for an exceptional one, thanks to the many work-from-home options.

As a compilation or "library of all the world's remote opportunities," debbah. houses every remote job board, distance education platform, and remote resource on the world wide web.

Initially, the idea for debbah. came from having my graduation at the beginning of the pandemic. As the world dealt with the chaos that came along, remote work went from a luxury to a necessity.

The problem was that there wasn't one place to find everything. It was all scattered across the internet; enter the concept for debbah.

Happy hunting!

How I felt after graduation right as the pandemic was beginning...

“For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing.

We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view.

I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”
